This photo was taken in my home studio, it happened three days after I decided to not go to college for photography but instead pursue my dreams, this was my first "major" photo shoot.Time
This photo was taken at 3:30 pm October 24th,2015. It was super cloudy out side so, I decided that it was best if the photo was taken indoors instead to capture the feeling I wanted.Lighting
I wanted the light to reflect in her eyes so there's this kind of sparkle in her eyes as she looked forward into her future.Equipment
I used a Nikon D3200 (I call mine Nikki) with a 18-55mm lens.Inspiration
Honestly this particular picture reminds me of how it was to be a kid, the whole world is this giant playground or adventure, that you're ready to go explore, so your eyes are just filled with hopes and dreams that one day you hope to achieve, the best part of it all was that this wasn't posed, she was legitimately staring out into space while I was cleaning my lens, and when I saw this I had to capture this natural moment, it's so innocent and because of that it is easily one of my favorites photos .Editing
There wasn't really much editing in this, I wasn't prepared for a white top on a white back drop, so when it came to reviewing I saw it and decided to wash out the background and then make the photo black and white so the only crisp colors were her skin, and the black of her bow on her t-shirt.In my camera bag
I always pack light Nikon D3200 (Nikki) and my lenses 18-55mm and 55-200mm, I love just being able to get a shoot whenever I want toFeedback
Honestly the only thing I can say is adapt, don't be scared just adapt.
