New Farm Power House built in the 1930s, at it's peak supplied electricity for the largest tram network in the southern hemisphere and serviced many of Brisbane’s suburbs. It was decommissioned in 1971, and became home for homeless, canvas for graffiti artists, film locations, and the army used it for target practise! Behind this old towering brick wall it is now a well respected music, art and theatre performance space.
