I had just gone to see the Maroon Bells in Aspen and decided to walk back down the road for a bit towards the shuttle start point to really experience the Fall colours. I wandered into the woods to be amongst the Aspens, as I love trees, and the clouds parted allowing the sun to shine down. There is something so beautiful about illuminated aspen leave. They are like little golden jewels.
