Wow, the colors! Amazing shot, I was wondering if you got a good shot of the comet Halle bopp. When it swung by in the 90's? Because it was so close! Thanks!

I am in love with this photo. I am new to astrophotography, and learning new stuff everyday. I have not taken any photos other than the moon as of yet, but it is a good place to start.

Thank you! My first image I took was of The Great Orion in 2009 but it has taken me many more years to get it right and I'm still learning each image's I take of Orion are all diffrent and the more of the same images you take of the same thing and Stack all the images you bring out more of the detail in the nebula.The more you experiment with the ISO the better the image.Each image of this photo is 20sec and the total in all is over 1hr 30min.I use (Deep Sky Stacker) it is a free program and for my Moon shots I use Regi Stax 6 it is also a free program try them out
