Rome, Italy 1989; from a 35mm slide film. One of my first photographs that showed where my passions were. For me the only limitations that film presented (besides the expense) was the enlargement size. Resolution once had only one meaning- how far you could enlarge it. Now there are multiple definitions to resolution but people forgot how to look.
Only picture that survived my trip to Rome Italy. Again, it is the expense- first of the film, then the development and finally any kind of edit or transferring (in this case from slide film to digital). Maybe not the best aspect of Rome Italy but certainly for me the most memorial. Where is the government or the Vatican ? The best aspect of Italy in general is the waking up of the artistic senses. No where else did I feel a urge to create like in Rome.

Well named. The B&W adds dimension. The dark sunglasses can't hide the stance of the people. Young, old, poor & modern day Coke cups. Interesting shot. It would make a good story.
