Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken during a family vacation to Oscoda, MI. Like most of my photos, it was something we saw in the moment and decided to capture it to share with others and, more than anything, keep for our own memories.

Time

This was taken about mid day with the sun light directly overhead.

Lighting

Lighting was all natural, no strobes, filters, or shades.

Equipment

I used a Canon 6d with Canon's L series lens. The glass is great and well worth it.

Inspiration

Like most of my photos, it was something we saw in the moment and decided to capture it to share with others and, more than anything, keep for our own memories.

Editing

I may have brought our some of the details of the photo, but that's about it.

In my camera bag

I typically have 2 strobes, a long and short lens and a spare camera in my bag.

Feedback

Take your time, if the object moves, you'll find something else. It's all about patience.
