It is very rare that you will find anything that stands out at 12:00 noon on a sunny day. You may have great depth of field and good contrast but These are what I call "Lunch Break photos". Listen to weather reports. Get up very early to watch the color balance of the light change. Shoot after the sun sets. Pick one location you like and shoot at all times of the day and the seasons if you have them. Pick the best equipment that is an extension of your vision. Have some fun.
