No point in looking at any other photo, this is seems both funny, creepy, and creative at the same time. Having the eyes show like they do sells it for sure!

Location
Little Cayman, Cayman IslandsTime
It was a late afternoon dive probably around 5 o'clock or a little there after.Lighting
The turtle saw his reflection and started to peck at the dome port. I had my strobes all the way out to the sides and angled in. I somehow managed to turn the flash down without startling the turtle and before it was able to scratch the glass. I was only able to get off a shot or two and then it was back to chomping on the sponge.Equipment
I shoot with a Nikon D300 in an Aquatica housing with Ikelite 160 strobes.Inspiration
Towards the end of the dive, I saw a turtle eating a sponge on the edge of a small patch of sand in the middle of the coral. Once I was situated on the sand patch, I looked up and the turtle was leaning in towards the camera. Not sure which one of us was the inspired one.Editing
I have very little post processing experience actually. Most of what I've done has been on iPhoto and its been limited at best. Im currently trying to learn how to use photoshop. I'm a work in progress. In my camera bag
I have my D300 with the 18-200mm lens that came with it. I also carry a 60mm for macro and I use a Tokina 10-17mm with zoom gear for underwater.IFeedback
Anything your trying to shoot underwater is faster than you. If your swimming after something, you can forget about it. Get in front of your subject and let it come to you. If you are able to approach an animal, do so slowly. When you think your close enough, get closer. Take lots of photos.
