Behind The Lens

Location

Hello, I took this photo on my way home, i work 12 hours a day in a concrete block with no windows or air conditioning and it gets quite hot 50 degrees celsius plus in summer, any way i decided to get into photography because i saw the sun rise every day on my way to work and set on my way home every day, so this was taken with a fujifilm camera i bought second hand for $50, sorry for rambling on but photo was taken on the outskirts of Whyalla South Australia

Time

I live 60 kilometers from town and i think it was about 7.30 pm from memory

Lighting

Unfortunately this camera was very limited in lighting adjustments, but ISO was 64 . i used to tilt the camera back, upward which seemed to help enhance colors, also this picture is not edited as i don't have access to any editing software

Equipment

Camera used was a Fujifilm finepix s3400 , was handheld with no flash or tripod used

Inspiration

Inspiration for these types of pictures for me seems to be the cliche of photography world, Always looking for the next perfect sunset/sunrise capture

Editing

i don't have access to any editing software, all my photos are natural, digital art is not photography !

In my camera bag

Ive come a long way from this photo and camera, now have two Nikon's a D3200 and now just upgraded to a D7500, i now have a couple manfroto tripods and a dozen various lenses all with slide filters, just purchased some new things to try my hand at time lapse photos with some astro but still studying before i try out

Feedback

With the age of digital photos from film now you can take hundred of pics of the same image at pretty much zero cost, make sure you use lots of different settings and angles of subject and pick out your favorite, but remember your favorite may not be any one Else's, but that's OK because every one has a different perspective on a brilliant photo. and sometimes all the wrong camera settings make for an award winning photo.
