After an amazing photoshoot with my gal at the Pacific Northwest Raptors, we joined my old friends in Cowichan Bay for supper. We arrived just as the light hit the perfect shade of blue. I quickly caught this photo just before heading in for supper. I watched the light change that night all the way through dusk, and it never got this good.
Nikon D610 and NIKKOR 28-300mm f-3.5-5.6 at 55mm, f-9, ISO 200, handheld exposure for 1-250 second in Aperture priority, ‒1-3 EV, Center-weighted average metering mode. Blemish removal, white balance, exposure, saturation and clarity adjusted in Adobe Lightroom CC 2016.
