Location
This photo was taken in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. It's the queen's garden(foreground) with the undefeated Mehrangarh Fort in the background framed.Time
Living in Jodhpur for 6 months, it never bored me to continuously explore this amazing fort in Jodhpur. I'd avoid the tourists and explore the hidden areas less visited. This was one of my afternoon walks, so I'd estimate it was 3pm.Lighting
What appealed to me was framing 2 parts of the fort in one image. The queen's garden and the mighty fort. This part of the fort is facing the north so the lighting worked in my favour.Equipment
This was shot spontaneously with my Nikon D50. It's one of my oldest bodies that I take with my during my adventurous.Inspiration
I wanted to show other areas of the fort less traveled. You could take days to explore and venture out around Mehrangarh Fort. Since it sits high on a hill, there are a many vantage points shooting upward. It's the framing from this location that inspired me to take this photo.Editing
No, there is minimal post to this image. In my camera bag
I normally have my DSLR body along with 50mm 1.8 and 18-24 2.8 lens. I seldom carry my flash as I'd like to be light weight during my travels.Feedback
Look outside the box and tap into areas where there are less tourists. This will give you a nice unique vantage point which will make your images stand out from the rest.
