I captured this photo during my visit to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. This was one of many neat things that I got to witness and learn about the horses during my visit. This mare had ventured a little too far away for the stallions liking, so he came over to her to tell her that she needed to move back with the rest of the band. When he did this, he stretched his neck out and put his ears back. It was neat to watch their interactions and how they communicate with each other. She knew what he meant and headed back over with the rest of the band.
