Marina Bay offers the best single view of city sunset in this amazing Asian city of Singapore. A promenade and jetty spans the entire bay with a direct view of the skyline of Fullerton area where the jewel of annual Formula 1 street race is held. This was taken on a clear evening with a D810 camera.

This photo was taken at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel promenade in the evening.Time
This was taken with a Nikon D810 sitting on the ledge you see here. As the D810 is a hefty one, carrying a tripod means slow me further down. I saw the sun setting at about 7pm and knew the light was awesome. With the camera perched, I press it on timer. The sunset isnt like this most of the time, so this was a special moment.Lighting
I wanted the image to be not a long exposure, as too many of these photographs are taken these days. I decided to shoot in metered by matrix on aperture priority mode. So that the shutter speed capture the moving clouds sharp.Equipment
