Behind The Lens

Location
I photographed this wild horse in Utah's West Desert.
Time
This was taken in the early afternoon.
Lighting
A wild Stallion watching over his band of wild horses.
Equipment
Canon 6D with a 70-200 2.8 lens.
Inspiration
The beautiful bands of wild horses in the desert of Utah are so majestic. Beautiful animals that still roam in the wild places in the west.
Editing
Small edits in lightroom. Converted to black and white with Silver Effects pro.
In my camera bag
17-40mm F/4, 70-200mm 2.8, 14mm 2.8, 50mm, 1.4 and a 105mm macro. Manfrotto tripod.
Feedback
You need a good size lens. A 70-200mm at the minimum. Good eyes to spot the herds and a lot of patience.
