An excellent scenic. The tidal pools in the foreground add immensly to the great depth of this photo.

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in Wollongong Australia

Time

I think it was around 6:30am

Lighting

it was a very bright sunrise so i used a nd filter to try and control it. I think I took about 15 pictures using different settings and this one turned out the best.

Equipment

I use a Sony A77V camera with a 16-50mm lens. I also used a tripod and a wireless trigger.

Inspiration

I lov the sunrise especially by the beach. I come from a land locked country so we never got to go to the beach much, so when i did experience my first sunrise I guess I have always wanted try and capture it on film, will now digital.

Editing

I think the only post-processing I did was try and straighten the horizon, other than that I have not touched it. I dont really like modifying my pictures except taking out the spots.

In my camera bag

I have a Sony A77V camera, a Sony 16-50mm Lens, Tamron 90mm Macro, Sony 50mm 1.8 prime, Sony 75-300 zoom and my latest is a Sigma 50-500mm lens. Hanel wireless trigger, Sony Flash some ND filters, Polarizer and that's about it.

Feedback

I am not qualified to give that advice as I am always googling to get the advice.
