It was not long ago that I would see photos similar to this and wonder if it was a real bird. Never had I imagined I would be fortunate enough to get such a shot. I'm very thankful and somewhat stunned! This is my favorite photo because I worked so hard with a limited camera to get it. I spent many hours chasing the her on. I felt stunned and joyful when I saw it.

Wonderful shot! It's a heron, is it? I was photographing one in the creek yesterday (not as well as this) but I wasn't sure what sort of bird it was.
