I first saw this tree, when I was 11 years old, I was a Boy Scout out with my patrol on a four day hike around the Kent countryside, we camped in the shade of this tree that summer (1975), I have been back each year and paid it a visit, Now it is huge compared to what it was 40 years ago, But great to see it in it's grand splendour.
