Tinos island, Greece.
During the summer of 2006, I visited an artistic intervention in the abandoned village Monastiria. The village was abandoned during the 1960s and the only remains were ruins.
The artists (Kostas Tsoklis, Giorgos Triantafyllou and Nikos Xidakis) had constructed a wooden path that led the visitors through the village. Along the way, they strategically placed mirrors that created very interesting reflections and illusions. The combination or ruins and nature, summer light and shadows, narrow paths and reflections, proved to be a photographer's playground.
