Wedged Tailed Eagles are birds of prey. They feed a lot on road kill - usually kangaroos and other animals which have been hit by cars and trucks. Thank you so much Michaeltillman. He was massive - with wings spread, they would have been the size of a windscreen on our car. My first reasonable attempt at catching these magnificent birds.
