This was taken in the rainforest going up to the volcano’s crater in Southern part of the Philippines.

Taken from one of the cliffs along the coastal area.

The photo was taken using the phone camera and timer.

Whale shark sorrounded by small fishes but it doesn't care because it's busy collecting plankton.

Gold sand is real. This photo was taken in one of the beaches in Philippines

Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken on the terrace of the house that I rented before near the beautiful beach in Cebu City, Philippines. I took this photo by myself using just my phone camera set in the timer.

Time

This image shows a deep meaning. I remember sitting there at around 5:30 in the afternoon looking to the horizon while the sun is setting down. I am lonely and missing my family.

Lighting

I wanted this photo to tell a story - a sad story. The light of the sky during sunset gives a perfect background and me as a silhouette.

Equipment

I used just an ordinary phone camera nothing more. If I remember correctly, it's Samsung Galaxy Dou.

Inspiration

Deep in my soul, I really love photography. I love taking pictures involving nature. I am always in awe of how artistic nature can be. It's all around us.

Editing

Usually, this type of photography requires darker shadows yet I didn't do anything because it was perfect in my eyes and I want it untouched.

In my camera bag

I posted photos here to just share with the world what I love. I may love photography that much but I am not capable enough to possess a camera because I am just financially challenged.

Feedback

You will always have that picture-perfect moment when it comes to sunset. Wait until the sun sets on the horizon. The light that the sky has during that time will allow you to capture a perfect silhouette. I was just fortunate that my house at that time is facing the west and the vast ocean. Bear in mind that pour your love into what you do and you will be unstoppable.
