Shortly after taking this photo, I gave each diez Soles (about 3 US Dollars) as a thank you. They were beyond ecstatic; they started hugging me and kissing my hand. Then they walked around the market showing all the vendors what I had given them. I realized that they were so joyful about something I take for granted every day.
