A great photograph makes us want to grab our camera and go out and take pictures. A brilliant photograph is capable of showing us something familiar even though we may never have seen it with our eyes, of entering into the experience of the photographer and the subject and being present. This one does that for me. I keep coming back to it, and find more to appreciate every time.
