December 2013 was a brutal winter here in Maine- several Ice storms and Nor'Easter snowstorms...power losses due to icing, lasting 2-3 days and one over the Christmas Holiday, that knocked out power a little more north of me...you can see the ice thickening on my blackberry bush in this shot...
