People of Lancaster

I have been wanting to photograph the people on Lancaster for quite some time now so I was thrilled to learn that my newly found church visits this area monthly. Today Opendoor Church hosted another food drive over by Unity Park. It was so special to watch my daughter give to the homeless people in the community. I was fortunate enough to meet some of these people and learned that homeless didn't always mean drugs or prison. I met Veterans suffering from PTSD, single moms who worked but couldn't afford to provide for their children, disabled and unable to survive off disability. Some of these people were no different than you and I no less than a month ago. Bless these people and let the Lord be the light in their darkness
