Location
This photo was taken on the drive back from the Swiss Alps. I remember walking out of the restaurant to the car and just noticing the lovely pinkish glow around me and turned around to see the most amazing sunset I had witnessed. The atmosphereTime
It was just after dinner as I was walking to the car at around 8 in the summertime just as the sun was setting.Lighting
When I took the picture, the colours looked absolutely amazing, and I wanted to emphasise just how beautiful nature is in this photo to get people thinking about the small but beautiful things that they miss out on seeing everyday and to remind them to enjoy the best of what nature has to offer.Equipment
I used a Nikon D5300 with an 18-55mm adjustable lens.Inspiration
It was kind of an impulse decision to take this photo, I just happened to have my camera on me and and took some raw pictures to see if it would turn out well. I was very pleased with the results!Editing
Usually with landscape photography, you have to do quite a lot of post-processing, however this particular evening the conditions were so perfect that just a small amount of work in Photoshop to brighten up all the colours, did the trick. In my camera bag
I almost always carry around my trusty camera, the Nikon d5300 DSLR with its 18-55mm original lens, because no matter what, whatever type of situation you are in, that lens can capture most views to a commendable amount of detail and is also very very simple to use.Feedback
I would suggest by starting off trying to notice the small beauty in every day life that we are so used to that we often ignore, and most importantly, always carry your camera around with you to capture the moment, because you never know when you will see that same beautiful moment again.
