The Light Switch

This photo was taken in an abandoned army base on the outskirts of Corsham, it is this massive open space with graffiti all over every building. I recently figured out why I love being in old, run down, decaying and abandoned places-buildings.
I found that being in such places of decay is amazingly jaw dropping, being able to walk around a place of such ruin and still find and feel the beauty is incredible.
I think that it's a very reflective statement to us as people, The people we have in our lives and the relationships we have with said people. It doesn't have to be in an dating situation but this is where this sudden realisation has come from.
The comparison I'm trying to make is you can find someone who has problems and might even refer to themselves as broken but that's where the beauty lyes, you see they may have issues but they still stand strong and tall amongst all odds and that is amazing. This is the reason I love abandoned buildings.
