Taken on the west coast trail on the beach of Tsusiat falls. I decided to sacrifice my trusty tripod and bring a gorilla pod to cut my weight down on my pack. I was flirting with waves thinking it might not reach me, but right at this shot I was was running back further into the shore with my camera and gear slightly soaked from the waves. I thought the shot was ruined, but turned it turned out great. It was worth it walking back to camp covered in seaweed, sand, and soaked from the ocean water.

Remembering the past

Taken a few years ago with my old canon SLR of Mount Rundle in Banff National Park during a warm Autumn afternoon.

Spent an afternoon practicing with my new filters for long exposures for the first time, This was probably my 3rd attempt.
