All forms of spiritualism envision A, singular), "light".
How that light is perceived, is the determining factor in the trajectory of said "religion". Do they worship the light itself, or the safety of the darkness around it? Those who often seek the light, tend to covet it for themselves.
Those who have been shunned by the light (and those who covet it), their whole life, will obviously, embrace the extinguishing of said, "critical" light.
In the dark, we are all equal...... (except in ferocity.)
I, as two, worship both the need for light, and it's warmth...
but also, the need to allow the creatures of the dark, to be cold and comfortable. Not everything needs, nor wishes, for company.
