Flap & Jump sequence #3 of 3

These sweet little Plovers fledge (take to the sky) around 28 days. They are running on the beach searching for food hours after breaking out of the shell, and are on their own for food, the parents, and in this case a Birder-Photographer provide security. This July I was among a small group of dedicated volunteers to the NH Fish & Game Plover Monitor program. Can't wait for next year!!
