Location
The new Woodward's building is located near downtown Chinatown in Vancouver.Time
It was nearing noon and the day was very bright.Lighting
The midday sunlight was very bright, but the building itself was casting a shadow so decreased the exposure setting by -2/3. Although it takes the beautiful blue sky away it shows the building colour pretty much as is.Equipment
The camera is a Canon T5i and used handheld and the lens a short 55mm.Inspiration
I am not one good at architecture, but I gave it a try. Also, not one for being downtown much, this day gave me an opportunity to see the core.Editing

In the bag I carry, T5i, 18-55mm, 70-300, and 85mm. Recently acquired a 150-500. I have a tripod, but rarely use it.Feedback
Just shoot what looks interesting to you and if others like it the better. Make a day of it and capture the moment as it is said. I will say that to get this skyward look of the building I really craned my neck to get underneath it and took several shots. I am no professional, so do what is best for you. Thank you, Viewbug!
