For the sake of the discussion and to promote good rope.

The term TK (Tekatekote) means "Bound hands and arms", the name refers to the person's position, not the way the rope is placed on the body.

This behind the back "box arm tie" as it is referred to in the west is based upon ties originally found in the samurai martial art of Hojojutsu, which evolved into BDSM bondage usage later on.

a Kannuki: term used to any line that has the purpose of simply block the ropes from slipping, they are not required on all TKs tie styles and ca be used in other common ties such as The prayer tie.
