This photo was taken in our family home where our first litter of English Springer Spaniels were born. This sweet little one was nestled on top of their siblings, soaking in all the attention of being "on top"!Time
I remember the timing of this photo as being shortly after the puppies were born and how much they huddled together in their welping box. They seemed to go together like little puzzle pieces, fitting snugly together!Lighting
Lighting was standard - no special lighting was set up.Equipment
My use of camera is a Canon T3i. I love the quality of photos this camera is able to capture and therefore would recommend that anyone looking for a great camera, that this one would be the place to start. Surprisingly, I also use my camera phone often to capture photos when I do not have my Canon.Inspiration
What inspired me to take this photo were that all nine little pups were huddled together on top of one another and this little one had to be on top while the others were cozy underneath! Such a blessing to experience the miracle of birth and how all the puppies brought joy to our family.Editing

My normal equipment that I carry with me is the body of my camera and two different lenses along with several SD cards as I seem to fill them up fast! Not being a seasoned photographer, I love to keep it simple, but cannot wait for the day where I can delve in more! I also do use the camera on my Samsung S5 phone which, believe it or not, takes fantastic photos!Feedback
Advice in capturing similar photos would be that you need to learn patience and also to be spontaneous! Be aware of your surroundings as it is all too easy to overlook the simple things in life. Some times I am in awe at the pure beauty that surrounds us - God is present everywhere with these little, or larger than life, miracles!
