Behind The Lens

Location

I was taking pictures of different birds in my backyard when I saw this little goy sitting there. Just as I snapped the picture, another bird came into land. I was fortunate to catch that moment.

Time

I love this photo because it looks like a bigger bird coming in. I posted it on Facebook and one of my friends posted, "Fly away little birdie. Quickly". I told her it was the same kind and size bird that was at the top of the bush.

Lighting

I took this picture in the morning

Equipment

I used a Nikon camera which I no longer have and don't remember the specifics. Sorry. No other equipment.

Inspiration

I just love taking pictures of birds and animals and needed a break from my boring morning so I decided to see what I could shoot. Also shot some bees, a praying mantis and butterflies as well as different birds.

Editing

No

In my camera bag

I am an amateur photographer and user a Nikon 900. Someday I'd like to invest in another more sophisticated camera..

Feedback

Being an amateur, I just suggest one shoots for the fun of it and whatever strikes one as a neat picture. I start out thinking I'm going to shoot butterflies and end up getting in the car and shooting landscapes, animals and nature in general.
