This is a photo from the first day that I went out shooting after I purchased my DSLR on the campus of the university I was attending for grad school in a major city. These are the results of a lot of experimenting. Looking back now, I actually got some decent shots without really understanding any of the technique or settings. This is one of my favorites from that day!
