Behind The Lens

Location

I shot this hawkbill turtle at the spot known as Palancar reef, on the island of Cozumel, at the depth of about 42 meters.

Time

Morning.

Lighting

I have used underwater strobe.

Equipment

I used an vintage Nikonos RS underwater film camera with Nikonos 20 - 35 mm zoom and Velvia 100 ASA film.

Inspiration

I love scuba diving and shooting.

Editing

I scanned the film with an Imacon Flextight 848 scanner and did some basic image optimization in Photoshop.

In my camera bag

Nikon D 7500 body, Nikon D7000 body, Nikon 12 - 24 mm zoom, Nikon 24 - 85 mm zoom, Sigma 50 - 500 mm zoom, Nikon 105 Micro, polarizing filters.
