Location
Taken at sunset, on the beaches of Aylmer Quebec, Canada,Time
Taken at sunset, while being annoyed by a small dog that caused me to start leaving the beach area, as I approached the wharf I noticed the storm had started to separated some of the clouds and the sun gleaming on the horizon. planted my tripod in the water to establish this different perspective. It took me 3 frames to capture this unremarkable sunset.Lighting
Trying to achieve a romantic but eerie feeling, using the slow shutter speed gave me everything i needed to open the right exposure on the water, the skies gave me a great blend with some opening creating a v shape between the water and the clouded ski.Equipment
Getting to takeout my Canon 70D is always a fun adventure for myself, using one of my go to lens the canon 10-18mm wide lens to create this beautiful photograph. Tripod is a must to do night photography.Inspiration
The amazing sunset is what i love to shoot, the zen moments, the serenity and I love the solitude and being able to capture beautiful moments.Editing
Lightroom was used to adjust the shadows and intensify the clouds, minor adjustments with exposure and contrast to help define this piece. In my camera bag
Always have my 2 go to lenses, first is my Canon 10-18mm wide lens and the second is my canon 24-70mm F2.8 lens.Feedback
advice, is to keep at it, it took me months to be able to understand the different settings for evening, sunset, golden and blue hour photography. keep practicing, take notes on the better settings to help you achieve a better result faster for the next try..
