This Tawny Frogmouth flew onto our verandah today when the magpies were chasing it. They are nocturnal and he stayed on our verandah for 7 hours in the same spot until he flew off at dusk. The Magpies are nesting at the moment so he was probably chased when he got too close to their nest.
