Winter's Blessing by Sandi Barry

Winter was evident in the countryside, with it's dead grass and selection of trees that had long since discarded their leaves in order to conserve for the cold winter ahead. As the road led into the distance, and guiding me to the snow covered mountains, I felt a sense of adventure! I imagined skipping down the road to see what fun things could be found along the way, and eventually being led up into the mountains, where snow still graced it's presence. Here one could perhaps build a small snowman!
