Behind The Lens

Location

This was captured in Bognor Regis, in West Sussex.

Time

Taken around 4pm while taking a leisurely stroll along the beach.

Lighting

The light had a lovely warm early evening quality to it which suited the colours and tones in the composition

Equipment

I used a Panasonic Lumix fz series bridge camera.

Inspiration

I loved the contrast between the light and dark where the outflow pipe had rusted through over time. The shape of the hole was quite intriguing too. My main aim was to see a tourist spot in a non tourist way.

Editing

I only did very basic editing with slight tweaks to the colour and contrast.

In my camera bag

Now, I have a Panasonic Lumix FZ300 and a Leica D-Lux 5.

Feedback

My advice would be to stay alert and look away from the crowd so to speak.
