Location
This photo was taken at the Robert Mondavi winery in Napa Valley. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and toured several vineyards that day. We were tasting wines in a large outdoor courtyard and we'd set our glasses on a table. I remember thinking "this would make a great photo.Time
It was about 2 in the afternoon. I remember this because the sun was on my forehead.Lighting
Nothing really, it was early afternoon and thankfully the glasses were under the shade of an umbrella.Equipment
I shot this with a Nikon D4 and a Tamron 28-70 2.8.Inspiration
I liked the way the glasses were arranged on the table. I drink red wine, my wife drinks white. I remember that I placed my wine glass down in front of the two glasses of white and immediately thought, "that's a photo." The composition with the glasses was perfect, the fact the vineyard was in the background was icing on the cake.Editing

A Nikon D3 or D4, 50 mm, 17-35 mm, 70-200 mm, 2 speed lights, tripod, and remote triggers for the flashes.Feedback
