Rain started to fall as I reached the pond itself, being distracted by many Sparrows and Warblers flitting about at all levels of the trees and in the brush that lined the access road.
Some color was still left in the trees of the distant shore standing beyond the scrub pines of the marsh beyond the actual pond.
