Behind The Lens

Location

I took the Photo off the NE coast of England adjacent to Bempton Cliffs from a boat

Time

Taken roundabout mid day

Lighting

Initially the sun was out which I though was going to be a problem for me burning out the whites, but I was lucky enough that the weather changed and some cloud blew in. This give much better lighting control

Equipment

Canon 1DX with Canon 70-200mm F2.8

Inspiration

I love photographing birds and I always look to do something different

Editing

I used photoshop to open the RAW file and made sure none of the highlights were burned out. Added a little contrast and thats about it

In my camera bag

Canon 1DX Canon 1dMK4, Canon 600mm f4, Canon 24-104mm Canon 100mm Macro

Feedback

Know the limits of your equipment, get to know your subject and how they react to your presence. Be patient and most of all have fun with causing any harm or disturbance to your subject
