Behind The Lens
Location
Northern California, a beach called Agate Beach. It has this name for you are able to gather Agates to collect. It is a very nice hike down to the beach, with a path that goes through trees, and does descend down to the beach.Time
I am thinking that this was toward the late afternoon time. We always enjoyed heading to Agate beach that time of day plus when the the clouds would roll in just made the hike and spending time on the beach so much better.Lighting
I enjoy taking pictures with clouds, because of the lighting it can create. Nothing was done to enhance this picture, so what you see is what you get.Equipment
This was taken with on my first digital camera that I had at the time. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
I have always enjoyed taking pictures of this beach from this vantage point. It gave you the view that would always burn into your mind so that it always drew you back to this location.Editing

We now have a Fujifilm HS 30 EXR that we really like using. I enjoy using a monopod as well. I have just added a 4k Sony Camcorder that I am really having lots of fun with.Feedback
Take the picture even when you are not to sure what the outcome will be. Some of my best shots have come from just shooting and enjoying the photos afterwards.
