An iconic London landmark, captured in the early morning sunrise. St Paul's cathedral in London, England was designed by Sir Christopher Wren and built on the site of the old cathedral that was completely gutted in the Great Fire of London of 1666. The first stone was laid in June of 1675 and the Cathedral came into use on the 2 December 1697, but was not declared officially complete until Christmas Day of 1711.
