Enjoy watching two in the mornings. I especially like the cardinal on the fence this particular morning.

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo from my screened porch, shooting through the screen.

Time

This was shot in the morning, we enjoy breakfast out on the screened porch when I spotted these two. We enjoy watching them daily.

Lighting

The deer are most active in the mornings & evenings, just when the lighting is best, before the sun is overhead & when it's going down.

Equipment

This was shot with a Nikon D5100, using 70-200 lens. No other equipment was used.

Inspiration

I enjoy the backyard deer, we see them frequently, & this just seemed like the perfect shot!

Editing

I did very little editing, only cropping.

In my camera bag

Seems like I end up shooting with the 70-200 lens most of the time. The 18-55 is next. I also have the prime 55mm.

Feedback

If you love shooting wild life, your camera must be reachable at all times. Get lots of shots, & choose the best ones. Also, be patient! Take lots of shots! Did I say take lots of shots?
