The Stare Down.
I had an hour to myself for the first time in a long time and wanted to get out and find something new to photograph in my town. I had heard from a friend that there were Leopard Frogs at a pond near the river so I went out to investigate. I was pleasantly surprised to have a stare down with this little frog right away, and I saw twenty or more frogs during the hour I was there! The pond was expanded to help improve the habitat for these Northern Leopard Frogs in New Castle, Colorado in 2010.
