[cation for night photography article] I used the rule of 500 to calculate the shutter speed of this shot of Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica. Since I used a 35mm lens, I took 500-35=14.3 (which I rounded to 15 seconds). Canon 5D II, 35mm, f1.6, 15 seconds, ISO 1600.
