This has a lot of potential, but too much black area. If you brighten the dark areas to show just a bit of detail, and reduce the white so it does not appear washed out. it could be superb. There are number of protr5rams that an do thin in post processing.

Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in the town where I live. There is an overpass over these tracks and I was wondering what the tracks would look like in the fog.

Time

I woke up early one morning and noticed it was foggy out. Finally I was getting the chance to see what the tracks looked like in the fog.

Lighting

I took one of the photos and started changing the contrast and I really liked how even though The bushes alongside the tracks darkened, the tracks themselves remained bright. I liked how the contrast and the tracks drew attention to the light ahead and just a little around the corner. That is when I decided this could represent the Final Journey - heading for the light at the end of the tunnel.

Equipment

I didn't use anything but my Pentax K S1

Inspiration

I was curious how the tracks would look on a foggy morning.

Editing

In my camera bag

I carry backup batteries and a very small tripod. I don't have special equipment.

Feedback

I know there is a lot I still don't know about photography. But I love that I enjoy the simple beauty of the world around me. A beautiful sunset, a rainbow, dragons in the clouds, or fog on the train tracks. Just keep capturing the things you enjoy.
