Behind The Lens

Location

This is actually a composite of 6 photographs. The main elements such as the tractor was abandoned in a field, hence the title "Abandoned". The hut was in the same village which is Eyam in Derbyshire, England. This is a village where the great plague struck in the 19th century. Many of the villagers died and the village has been preserved for posterity. The hills are at Winnicks Pass also in Derbyshire, whilst the white cloud is actually a snow flake, distorted.

Time

Various

Lighting

It is important in composites to adjust the components so that all the light is the same across the picture.

Equipment

All parts were shot on my Canon 600d with various lenses

Inspiration

The tractor was my main inspiration as it looked so sad sitting abandoned in a field.

Editing

Mostly processed with Photoshop and the Topaz Adjust plug in

In my camera bag

1 camera, several lenses, flash gun and cleaning equipment and some filters.

Feedback

Have in mind what you want to achieve and ensure that all the shots are taken from the same perspective
