Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on the Chickahominy River, Virginia.

Time

It was in the morning around 10:00am.

Lighting

The beautiful clear sky was stunning blue against the green of the trees and the water.

Equipment

An Apple IPhone 6sPlus

Inspiration

It was just perfect and I was completely in awe of the trees that were growing right out of the river.

Editing

I used a filter to clarify the picture. To bring out the blue of the sky so it would show as a contrast against the trees- at least as I was seeing the physical view.

In my camera bag

I have a old Sony camera, but no special lenses and a tripod I use for nighttime star photos.

Feedback

Make sure to pick a clear day. I always see pictures in my head before I shoot them. Be brave and adventurous in your photos. Look for the unexpected and those surprise shots.
